February 14, 2011 | Leave a comment This year’s Fairtrade Fortnight focuses on cotton and the Dumfries Fairtrade Group are taking part in producing the longest piece of bunting ever – hand decorated Fairtrade cotton bunting of course. Lots of groups locally are taking part – as you can see… and maybe you would like to take part. If so do contact us using the comments box, or come along to the Environment Fair at DGOne on Sat 5 March. Just some of the Fairtrade Bunting decorated so far... and here is some more - but we are going to need much more. Many thanks to Hannah Mortlock for these great pictures! On Saturday 12 March we intend to display the finished bunting along the Devorgilla Bridge… do join us – we will need lots of help! More details to follow but do contact us using the comments box if you would like more information – and see below for more about what’s happening locally in Fairtrade Fortnight..
